After reading the Quran and Hadiths, I have seen several incidents where I believe Mohammad was fooling everyone in the name of Allah. He used the name of God as his puppet to get things that he wanted but were morally or ethically bad. Since these incidents come right from Quran and Hadiths, no muslim can challenge it’s authenticity but can only make some justifications, which will not be supported by any authentic Quran verse or Hadith. Without much delay (since that will make this post way longer), let’s start:
(Note, there are several stories, not one or two, so skipping the post to end will not help)
- Mohammad had some psychological/mental issues. Do I say it? No. It’s been said by her very own wife Aisha. in Sahih Al Bukhari: 3268:
Narrated `Aisha: Magic was worked on the Prophet (ﷺ) so that he began to fancy that he was doing a thing which he was not actually doing. One day he invoked (Allah) for a long period and then said, “I feel that Allah has inspired me as how to cure myself. Two persons came to me (in my dream) and sat, one by my head and the other by my feet. One of them asked the other, “What is the ailment of this man?” The other replied, ‘He has been bewitched” The first asked, ‘Who has bewitched him?’ The other replied, ‘Lubaid bin Al-A’sam.’ The first one asked, ‘What material has he used?’ The other replied, ‘A comb, the hair gathered on it, and the outer skin of the pollen of the male date-palm.’ The first asked, ‘Where is that?’ The other replied, ‘It is in the well of Dharwan.’ ” So, the Prophet (ﷺ) went out towards the well and then returned and said to me on his return, “Its date-palms (the date-palms near the well) are like the heads of the devils.” I asked, “Did you take out those things with which the magic was worked?” He said, “No, for I have been cured by Allah and I am afraid that this action may spread evil amongst the people.” Later on the well was filled up with earth.
So himself admitted, according to his wife Aisha that he was sick. He was fancying things which didn’t exist. And still Muslims will believe that he was not fancying Allah. But it is apparent from his conduct that he was using Allah’s name to get what he wanted. For example
- Prophet Mohammed had an adopted son namely Zayd. He was married to the most beautiful women of Arabia called Zaynab. Once Prophet visited his adopted son’s home and was greeted by Zaynab. From then Mohammed started to want Zaynab. But it was immoral to lust upon his own adopted son’s wife.
When Zayd came to know about this he offered his wife to Prophet and said he will divorce her. But out of morality issues Prophet asked him to “Keep his wife”. But his admiration for Zaynab couldn’t end. So Zayd ultimately divorced his wife but Prophet couldn’t still marry her for she was once wife of his adopted son.
So Allah stepped in to state in Quran Chapter 33 Verse 4 that adoption is not permissible in Islam. So that morality issues of adoption ends there. But people were still confused about this and so was prophet.
So Allah stepped in again to make it very clear for Prophet and people that Prophet can marry Zaynab. In Quran Chapter 33 Verse 37 it is written that:
” Behold I thou didst say to one who had received the grace of Allah and thy favour; “retain thou (in wedlock) thy wife, and fear Allah.” But thou didst hide in thy heart that which Allah was about to make manifest: thou didst fear the people, but it is more fitting that thou shouldst. Fear Allah. Then when Zayd had dissolved (his marriage) with her We joined her in marriage to thee: in order that (in future) there may be no difficulty to the believers in (the matter of) marriage with the wife of adopted sons, when the letter have dissolved (their marriage) with them. And Allah’s command must be fulfilled.”
It is interesting to note here that Chapter 33 Verse 4 abolishes ADOPTION but Chapter 33 Verse 37 allows prophet to marry ADOPTED SON’s wife as a command of Allah without fearing shame of the society.
When there was no concept of adoption in Islam, why clearing specific path to marry adopted son’s wife and that too for specially the Prophet?
You have to be too rigid to not understand that it was Allah acting on to fulfill wishes of Mohammad. In another example:
- Mohammad had the most beautiful and 9 wives, but his sex fantasy would never end. Once he saw a slave in very less clothing and starting having intercourse with her. The story is narrated in:
Sunan An Nasai 3411: It was narrated from Anas, that the Messenger of Allah had a female slave with whom he had intercourse, but ‘Aishah and Hafsah would not leave him alone until he said that she was forbidden for him.
So he forbid that for himself, but he couldn’t resist his sex temptation. And then he again used Allah as his puppet to reveal to himself that:
Chapter 66 – Verse 1: O Prophet! Why holdest thou to be forbidden that which Allah has made lawful to thee, thou seekest to please thy consorts? But Allah is oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Chapter 66 – Verse 2: Allah has already ordained for you, the expiation of your oaths (in some cases): and Allah is your protector, and He is full of Knowledge and Wisdom.
So, when he was caught and said sex with slaves was forbidden for him, but couldn’t resist, Allah came to his rescue and allowed him to break his oaths. What a decent character Prophet and Allah, who now seek to give a decent message to the world through this story. But story doesn’t end here:
- Whenever you ask a Muslim why Mohammad married Zaynab, I’ve seen muslims saying since he was supposed to be an ideal human whom we should follow. Despite this being an utter lie that he was an Ideal Human, let’s admit it for the sake of argument and see his personal conduct and the conduct he wanted from others.
He asked his followers to wash self before having sex with wives. If one needs to have sex with all 4 wives in a single day/night, wash before approaching each wife, if one wants to have sex twice with same wife in even continuity to previous one, he must wash self again for it. This is said in Sahih Muslim Book 3 Hadith 605:
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When anyone amongst you has sexual intercourse with his wife and then he intends to repeat it, he should perform ablution. In the hadith transmitted by Abu Bakr. (the words are):” Between the two (acts) there should be an ablution,” or he (the narrator) said:” Then he intended that it should be repeated.”
And himself used to have sex with all 9 wives without abolution (wash), which is stated in Hadith right next to it, Sahih Muslim Book 3 Hadith 606:
Anas reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to have sexual intercourse with his wives with a single bath.
Now muslims claim because he is the purest person to walk on this planet. Then why wash even once or even take bath? This gets weird as we keep talking about it. In another example:
- Prophet Mohammed liked to invite people to his palace for dinner, after which people liked to stay and ask a few questions to prophet “the messenger of Allah”, which he didn’t like because he used to have sex with all his 9 wives after dinner. YES 9 IN ONE NIGHT. But since he was shy in telling people to leave by himself, so Allah stepped in and revealed to him the following verse:
Chapter 33 Verse 53: O ye who believe! Enter not the prophet’s house – until leave is given to you – for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation; but when ye are invited, enter; and when ye have taken your meal, disperse, without seeking familiar talk. Such (behavior) annoys the Prophet, he is too shy to dismiss you, but Allah is not shy (to tell you) the truth.
This verse is further explained by Sahih-al-Bukhari 6:60:314 and 315
I of all the people know best this verse of Al-Hijab. When Allah’s Apostle married Zainab bint Jahsh she was with him in the house and he prepared a meal and invited the people (to it). They sat down (after finishing their meal) and started chatting. So the Prophet went out and then returned several times while they were still sitting and talking. So Allah revealed the Verse: ‘O you who believe! Enter not the Prophet’s houses until leave is given to you for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation …..ask them from behind a screen.’ (33.53) So the screen was set up and the people went away.
If that still doesn’t help you understand that Mohammad was fooling people, here’s he himself stepping back from own words that Allah revealed to him. Quran Chapter 2 Verse 106 says:
“We do not abrogate a verse or cause it to be forgotten except that We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it. Do you not know that Allah is over all things competent?”
Muslims say Mohammad did it because of change in circumstances, but they don’t tell if circumstances could change during his lifetime, can’t they change after 1200 years of his death?
I will not force my opinion on anyone, but this is very clear of Mohammad that he was abusing name of God.
This is still not the entire Quran and Hadith. There are many more stories and I’ll keep updating this post. Keep in touch on our Facebook page to know when posts get updated. Till then, Take Care.
